Casey and Ben Spacapan have experienced a lot of of life’s milestones—big and small—right by each other’s area. The duo initially satisfied through a common buddy during a 8th level dance in 2003 and—after a lot of shows, school dances, university tours, and quick messenger chats—started dating whenever they were 24 yrs old.

Whenever the few got interested during a romantic visit to Jackson opening in 2018, the duo ready their own places on a 250-person resort event in Summer 2021. Minimal performed they are aware, her nuptials would fall-in the Covid pandemic.

“The week-end we travelled back again to Chicago in regards to our wedding ceremony tasting had been the week-end in March 2021 when I was actually sent house from benefit ‘two months’ and Ben’s last semester gone from in-person to on the web,” Casey recalls.

But, as they’ve completed with every other milestone, Casey and Ben obtained this unanticipated curveball in stride and—most importantly—together. The couple eventually pivoted to a romantic, 61-person wedding ceremony in August—and stuffed their wedding day with little, personalized details.

“whenever I look back on our very own time, I really don’t feel dissapointed about being forced to don face masks or even the decreased dancing,” Casey shares. “we start to see the joy from inside the eyes in our visitors in our photo, we notice the pleasure if they tell me all of our marriage was actually a highlight of 2021 for them, and that I cannot think about creating our very own day other means.”
